The St Joseph’s PTA exists to provide a close link between home and school and is an exceptional way to bring parents, friends and staff together socially in support of the school, whilst working towards a common goal. In its time the PTA has raised hundreds of pounds, which has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education experience and the school’s facilities.
Obviously, as in any organisation, we have experienced some challenges but with the continued support of parents and staff, St Joseph’s PTA always succeeds in its efforts. All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved, even if they only have a small amount of time available. Previous events have included School Discos, Quiz Nights, Cheese and Wine Nights, Summer Fayre, Treasure Hunts, BBQ nights, Chocolate Bingo, Mother’s Day Afternoon Cream Tea, Year 6 Leaver’s Party and providing refreshments at various events.
The Committee meet on a regular basis, with smaller working groups meeting as necessary when we are planning larger events. St Joseph’s PTA welcomes suggestions from Parents as well as students, as to what we can purchase for the children at the school. We value your opinion and if you would like to make any suggestions, we’d be happy to hear from you. We have already purchased many items but need your help with more!
Can You Help?
the work of St Joseph’s PTA is done on a completely voluntary basis for the
benefit of our children. There are many ways you can help - the important thing
is that there is no commitment involved, all we ask is that if you can spare a
little time, please get in touch.
Simply contact the school office, any PTA member or attend one of the committee meetings and see for yourself - no commitment necessary!
